PETA

PETA India works to stop cruelty to animals and promotes compassion for all sentient beings. PETA India greatly appreciates the donation from FirstRand to support our work and help us continue round-the-clock rescue work.

Here are just a few examples of animals helped by PETA India with FRSPL‘s generous support.

PETA quickly responded to a report that a puppy had been left in a jute bag near a dumpster. The pup was understandably hesitant to trust our rescue staffer, but kind words and patience finally coaxed him close. Our staff gently gathered him up, and we’re working to place him in a loving home. In the meantime, he has learned to trust people and is spending time romping with other puppies we’ve rescued.
